Learning to speak Russian can be fun and rewarding. Learning any language as a second language is great for your brain and expands your options in the world. Russian 4 Everything is dedicated to helping you reach your Russian language goals. It doesn't matter if you are just a beginner or if you already have the basics but want to improve, we can help!

Learning Russian isn't something you'll be able to conquer overnight, but I assure you, if you are persistent and dedicated to learning the language, you'll get there... and we'll be with you every step of the way.

Here 5 quick tips to help you learn Russian:

  1. Use authentic media and instructors - By using media created by native Russian speakers, and using tutors and instructors who speak Russian as a first language, you'll be able to listen to the language in context and actual conversation. As you do more and more of this, your brain will become accustomed to the uses of words in the right places and the emphasis put on parts of phrases.
  2. Immerse yourself - If you want to learn Russian, you can't practice once a week and expect to be fluent in 6 months. You need to dedicate a good amount of time each day to practicing, speaking, and learning the language. You can also go a step further and take cultural immersion lessons as well.
  3. Take the time to learn the Cyrillic alphabet - With Russian, you've got to learn an entirely new alphabet. Learning each letter and how to pronounce it will help you read and understand Russian quicker.
  4. Learn the basics first - Learning and remembering common words can help you get through a day abroad. Common words will help you communicate on the most basic level. You might have the vocabulary of a 2 years old but at least people in Russia will understand what you are trying to ask for or say.
  5. Interact with a native speaker - Just like #1, interacting with a native Russian speaker will help you conquer the Russian language quicker. Trying to do it on your own will only take longer because you don't have anyone to help you in real time.
